  • We strive to create a classroom environment that is friendly and inviting; where everyone can have a safe, enjoyable practice. In order to allow us to offer everyone in our community the best possible experience, please follow these guidelines:

    Arrive 5 - 10 minutes before class
Allow yourself enough time to set up your practice space before class begins.

    Shoes
Please remove your shoes when you enter the building.

    Entering late
Sometimes it happens. Please wait outside the door until centring practice is finished, then enter class and set up your practice space with minimal disturbance to others.

    Leaving early
Tell your instructor that you need to leave early. Quietly pack up your gear and leave before savasana.

    Voice levels
Please carry on pre- and post-class discussions quietly so as not to disturb massage clients or fellow students for whom yoga class is a source of much-needed calm and quiet.

    Safety
Ensuring classroom safety is the responsibility of the teacher. Please do not try to adjust or modify other students' poses unless asked by the instructor to assist.

    Practice on an empty stomach
Do not eat a large meal 2- 3 hours before a class.

    Cell phones
Please turn off your phones before entering the building or leave them in your car.

    Mat etiquette
Respect others' space by not walking on their mat unless you have been invited to do partner work. If you are borrowing a studio mat, please wipe it down before putting it away.

    Perfume
Please avoid wearing a fragrance to class. Other students may have allergies.
